Pastor Steve Hamilton – Response: Robb Elementary School Killing

I Need to talk to someone…We, as Church cry out, “why???”

“…a handgun, an AR-15 assault weapon and high capacity magazines.“ CBS News

…19 Children didn’t come home last night from school…2 Teachers did not come home last night…

…multiple officers shot…

…the one shooting, shot and died…

…10 people indiscriminately killed by gun fire in a racially motivated shooting at the TOPS Friendly Market in Buffalo, NY…

…1 did not go home again and 3 were injured by gunfire at the Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church…

…and more…

May 14th through May 24th, 2022

“Love God with all that you are…love your neighbor as yourself…”

Sunday in Worship we say, “As a part of the Church, the body of Christ,

“Our mission (of St. Peter’s Tohickon United Church of Christ) is to respond to God’s love through Christ

by caring for one another, serving our wider community and God’s people throughout the world.”

…We are failing our children…and each other…

…We need common sense and accountability…

As Church, pray for comfort, healing, and justice through God’s peace and,

Pray for each other and this faith community to discern how we will become meaningfully engaged in the work of addressing gun violence.
